Hi there,
thank you for visiting my blog about robotics and artificial intelligence. I hope you enjoy reading my blog posts, learn something new about technology and get inspired for your personal life and career.
If you like my blog, please leave a comment and/ or like my articles. If you have open points for discussion or new topics you want me to write about, please let me know, either via DM or directly here in the comment section.
Who I am
I am Christopher Schneider, a robotics and artificial intelligence enthusiast. I studied business administration and engineering, followed by a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering. In my professional career at the second-largest robot manufacturer worldwide, I collected different experiences in product management, business development as well as research & development. During numerous international business trips, I learned more about the international robotics and AI landscape, got in touch with different cultures and met awesome people. Besides that, I volunteer in the standards committees ISO International Organisation for Standardization and DIN German Institute for Standardization to participate in developing new standards for robotic components and applications. I enjoy sharing my knowledge about robotics and the latest technology trends in speeches at industrial conferences, but also at academic events and during guest lectures at universities.
What you can expect from my blog
In this blog, I want to share my knowledge in the automation field with you in a structured and easy understandable way – whether you are new in robotics and want to find a way into this field, or if you are industry veteran with a lot of experience. This blog should serve as a collection of experiences and knowledge, that provides a variety of information such as:
- Overview and classification of robot technologies and architectures
- Concepts of human-robot-collaboration
- Typical robot applications and their specific practical requirements
- Common robot markets and domain-specifics
- Important conferences and events
- Getting into robotics, study programs and online courses
Stay tuned and have an awesome day.
Cheers,
Christopher
